that appears to be the whole scam, he followed me this morning and is (I assume) doing the same to everyone following cheapy so as to confuse them into following him

Me: Covered in the original blog post. Hopefully people won't be confused from now on and as I mentioned previously, the number of confused messages is way down from before.

Taro is a popular name in Japan...not sure what the joke is there.

Me: Yep, it's in no way intended to be offensive. I didn't want to use an actual person's name (as mentioned in the previous post) so Taro is the most common name I could think of that vaguely resembled Tai.

Nah that's just some doppelganger who thinks he's funny. You should read his blog, it's pretty dramatic.

Me: Heh, nice response. Dramatic it may be, but it's definitely changed the way the doppelganger has been perceived. In fact, since the previous two posts the responses are now about 70:30 positive.
